The blade is HON-WARIKOMI clad blade made of TAKEFU SHIRO-2 High carbon steel cutting core, sandwiched between SUS410 stainless steel which provides excellent edge retention, HRC 61 or more. The blade is riveted firmly with 3 points on the handle. And the handle is made of bright color plywood with stainless bolster. Proudly made in Seki city, Japan.
